This collection contains biographical materials, newspaper clippings, and personal and professional correspondence regarding Dr. Barnum. Correspondence, committee files, and course files pertaining to the Dept. of Music are also included. In addition, the files contain Dr. Barnum's research and background materials, including her doctoral thesis, on the musician Johann Nepomuk Hummel. Programs, contracts, scrapbooks, and photographs are also part of this collection with special emphasis given to the Hummel Classical Foundation, Hummel Festival, and Hummel Performance Project. Lecture and workshop materials used for the Iowa Music Teacher's Association convention, the Suzuki Conference, and the Music Teacher's National Association convention are also available.
